1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Verified Campers website and platform (“Platform”).

Verified Campers is a UK-based online marketplace specialising in premium campervans and motorhomes.

By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. About Verified Campers

Verified Campers operates as an independent online advertising platform.

We:

• Provide listing services
• Carry out identity verification
• Review vehicle information
• Conduct HPI and finance checks where applicable

We do not:

• Act as a broker
• Negotiate sales
• Handle payments
• Hold funds
• Guarantee vehicle condition
• Guarantee sale outcome

All transactions occur directly between buyer and seller.

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate identity information
• You must have legal authority to sell the vehicle

We reserve the right to refuse or remove listings at our discretion.

4. Listing Fee & Duration

The standard listing fee is £149.

This fee:

• Covers one vehicle listing
• Is valid for 180 days from the date of publication
• Is non-refundable except where required by law

The listing fee is a payment for advertising services only and does not guarantee a sale.

Once a listing is approved and published, the fee is considered fully earned.

5. Verification Process

Before publication, sellers must complete identity verification.

We may request:

• Photo identification
• Proof of address
• Proof of ownership
• Vehicle documentation

Failure to provide requested documentation may result in listing rejection.

Submission of false or misleading information may result in immediate removal and permanent account suspension.

6. Vehicle Information & Seller Responsibility

Sellers are solely responsible for:

• Accuracy of vehicle description
• Mileage accuracy
• Mechanical condition
• Legal ownership
• Disclosure of defects
• Valid MOT and documentation

Verified Campers does not independently inspect vehicles.

HPI or finance checks do not replace buyer due diligence.

7. Buyer Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for:

• Inspecting the vehicle
• Verifying documentation
• Confirming vehicle condition
• Conducting their own due diligence

Verified Campers is not liable for disputes between buyer and seller.

8. Prohibited Listings

The following are not permitted:

• Vehicles valued under £20,000
• Misleading or fraudulent listings
• Stolen vehicles
• Vehicles with undisclosed finance
• Duplicate listings
• Commercial spam listings

We reserve the right to remove any listing that does not meet platform standards.

9. No Commission

Verified Campers charges a fixed listing fee only.

We do not take commission from the final sale price.

We are not involved in price negotiation or transaction processing.

10. Limitation of Liability

Verified Campers shall not be liable for:

• Loss arising from private transactions
• Vehicle defects
• Misrepresentation by sellers
• Payment disputes
• Fraud between users

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the listing fee.

11. Account Suspension & Removal

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend accounts
• Remove listings
• Refuse service

Where there is evidence of fraud, misrepresentation or breach of these Terms.

No refund will be issued in cases of breach.

12. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text and design elements are the property of Verified Campers.

Users may not reproduce or copy content without permission.

13. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
